Those lyrics belongs to one of my favorite poem "Novia del campo amapola" wich means "Poppy fiancèe of the field" or something like that i'm not a good translator . This poem is like a love declaration, he ask to her if she will like to marry him isn't it sweet? he said he will give to her all his soul, he will feed her, also he will love her like a child does and she will have bread and water and a lovely house wich could be a very poor house but full of love and sun...awww~ i really love that poem!~

I decide to draw this because i found a very old book with lot of lovely stories and poems, and they remaind me my childhood, soooo...here is it, maybe i'll draw more poems in the future.

The picture itselft is about a girl, dreessed in red like poppies, and a prince come to ask her to marry him...why a prince? well...because naham loves princes and since i have been drawing a lot of princes lately i though it would be a good idea if one of them finally could find his soulmate even if it isn't a princess . The clouds are because i was missing to made a cloud bg and the flowers are because of the poem...i'll love to find a poppy brush set but...i couldn't
